SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's Madyson Oudbier has been named the Crossroads League Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 
It is the first career weekly award for Oudbier.
 
Oudbier ran a time of 19:18 in the 5,000-meter race to lead Spring Arbor at the Titan vs. Warrior Classic. The senior placed 10th overall in a field of more than 70 runners.
 
Her performance helped the Cougars finish third in the team standings, trailing only NCAA Division II Wayne State University and NCAA Division I Detroit Mercy.
 
Spring Arbor returns to action Saturday, Sept. 19 at Calvin University's Knight Invite in Grand Rapids.
