Cougars Open Season With Win Over Tech

It did not take long for the Spring Arbor University men's tennis team to have their first serious test, taking a hard-fought 5-4 win over Indiana Tech in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Junior Dave Cavender won at #3 singles and #2 doubles and freshman Brendan Blomfield won his first collegiate match after facing two match points against him to seal the victory for SAU. The MCC season opens for the men at home on Tuesday, September 4 at 4:00 against Indiana Wesleyan University.
