Still smarting from a close loss at Taylor on Thursday, the Cougars rebounded nicely with a well-played victory over Bethel College. The doubles teams of

Chris Swank all had decisive wins to start the match off.
The efforts of the doubles teams was followed up by some strong singles play as the Cougars rolled to a 9-0 win over Bethel College. Both
David Darling and
Andrew DeBruyn cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins in their respective singles matches.
Aaron Mayes improved his singles record to 11-2 overall and 7-1 in the MCC conference with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Stephen Ward at #2 singles.
The Cougars finish the dual match portion of their season in 3rd place in the 9-team MCC conference and begin their conference tournament on Thursday in Marion, IN. The winner of the conference tournament gains an automatic bid to the NAIA tournament next spring.
