Cougars fall short

It was a battle between the last two undefeated teams in the MCC, Huntington at 5-0 and SAU at 4-0. Unfortunately the Cougars came out on the short end of the matchup, losing 6-3 to a strong Huntington squad. 
Winners in singles were local standouts David Darling at #1 singles and Nathan Scholten at #4 singles. In doubles the Cougars' sole point came at #2 doubles where Aaron Mayes and Nathan Scholten teamed for an 8-4 win. The Cougars have a bye on Saturday and will next play against St. Francis this coming Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
