SAU advances to MCC tournament final

The SAU Cougars rolled on to the season-ending MCC tournament with a 5-0 win over defending conference champion, Huntington University. The Cougars got off to a strong start with some exceptional doubles play at their #1 doubles position. The Cougars beat the current ITA regional champions 8-2. The Cougars also won at #2 doubles with David Darling and Rafael Schuster, and made it a sweep with an 8-4 win at #3 doubles with Matt Wojtkowski and Michael Darling. In singles, Aaron Mayes and Rafael Schuster both won in straight sets to close out the match win. The Cougars will face Grace on Saturday at noon.
