The SAU Men's Tennis team defeated Trine University in their first, and long awaited, spring outdoor match in Michigan. The Cougars led 2-1 after the doubles and then went on to sweep the singles to claim the 8-1 victory. The Cougars had some lopsided wins at the top of the singles with
David Darling and
Aaron Mayes winning by identical 6-1, 6-0 scores. Matches in the middle of the lineup were more competitive but SAU managed to win them all in straight sets.
The Cougars are scheduled to play Aquinas at home this Saturday, April 2 at 3:00 p.m.
