The Cougars stayed perfect with an 8-1 win over St. Francis. The doubles teams of Thomas Calderone-Rafael Schuster (#1), Nathan Scholten-Michael Darling (#2) and Tim Smolen-Andrew Fitzpatrick all won to give the Cougars a 3-0 lead going into the singles.

In singles play, the Cougars dominated in the top 5 singles spots,  only losing 5 games in all of those matches put together. David Darling won 6-0, 6-1 at #1 singles, Aaron Mayes won 6-2, 6-0 at #2, Andrew DeBruyn won 6-0, 6-1 at #3, Michael Darling won 6-1, 6-0 at #4, and Tim Smolen won 6-0, 6-0 at #5. The Cougars' Steve Elzerman dropped  the #6 match 8-4 in a pro set.

The Cougars have 2 more conference matches remaining next week against Bethel and Huntington. If they win at least one of those matches they are guaranteed the top seed in the season-ending conference tournament beginning on October 4.
