Cougars stay undefeated

The Cougars got their 2nd win in two tries with a 7-2 win at Marian University. The Cougars were led by some strong performances at the top of their lineup. David Darling continued his near-flawless play with a 6-0, 6-0 win at the #1 singles spot. He has only lost one game in his two matches so far. At the #2 spot, Thomas Calderone had a convincing 6-2, 6-1 win and Aaron Mayes prevailed with a 6-4, 6-4 count.

At #5 singles, Andrew DeBruyn pulled out an exciting 6-4, 5-7, 10-3 win and Nathan Scholten also win in a 3rd set supertiebreaker with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 score.

In doubles, the Cougars had a convincing 8-1 win with Thomas Calderone and Aaron Mayes at #1 doubles and at #2 doubles, David Darling and Rafael Schuster won 8-4.

The Cougars next play against Grace on Thursday.
