GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Spring Arbor University men's tennis lost a tough match to Calvin College on Thursday afternoon falling to the Knights 5-4.
The Cougars swept the doubles matches winning at all three spots to take a 3-0 lead heading into the singles portion of the match. David Darling won handily at number one singles, 6-2, 6-1 and Spring Arbor only needed to win one more to close out Calvin, but was unable to get another point on the board.
The Cougars dropped to 15-4 on the year and will play next on Saturday, April 6 when they host the University of Northwestern Ohio. The match is set for 10:00am.
