ALBION, MI – Spring Arbor's men's tennis team made the short trip to Albion College on Thursday afternoon and came home with a 6-3 decision over the Brits at the Ungrodt Tennis center in Albion.

In singles action, David Darling won at #1, Aaron Mayes at #2, Matt Wojtkowski at #4, and Jesse DeBoer at the #6 singles spot.

The #1 doubles team of David Darling and Nate Scholten edged out Albion's Eric Guindi and Tucker Blake and the #2 doubles team of Aaron Mayes and Matt Wojtkowski defeated the Brit's Jonathan Gurnee and Aaron Stanley.  Both matches were decided by 8-5 scores.

The Cougars improved to 12-2 while Albion's early record is 1-2.  Spring Arbor will take their annual trip to Hilton Head Island leaving tomorrow for a 1:00pm match on Monday with the University of Charleston.
