Men's tennis drops 7-2 match to Huntington University

HUNTINGTON, INMichael Darling, at #5 singles, and the #3 doubles team of Jesse DeBoer and Aaron Latsch picked up the only two points for the Cougars in a 2-7 loss to the Huntington Foresters on Wednesday afternoon.

Darling won convincingly in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3 over the Foresters Zakk Sparks.  DeBoer and Laatsch won an 8-1 decision over Huntington's Sparks and local Western High School graduate, Jacob Cross.

After winning their first two matches, the Cougars have struggled in the last four to drop to 2-4 on the season, and are now in sixth place in the Crossroads League standings.

Spring Arbor has two matches remaining in the fall season starting with Saint Francis on the 24th in Fort Wayne, IN and will play Indiana Wesleyan at home on Thursday, September 26th.
