DEARBORN, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's basketball team went on the road looking to make it three in a row at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, but the home team had other plans. In a well contested first half this game turned into one of runs.
The Wolverines went on a 22-8 run that stretched both halves and pushed their lead all the way to 15. Just when it seemed like the night was over for the Cougars, they went on their own 13-0 run to tie the score late 62-62. However, SAU exerted a lot of energy to get back into the game and seemed to run out of gas as a late bucket from UMD and five free throws later the home team would escape 69-66.
