INDIANAPOLIS – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team was defeated by nationally ranked Crossroads League foe Marian University 3-0 on Wednesday evening in Indianapolis. The No. 25 ranked Knights also clinched the league regular season crown with the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SET SCORES: 25-10, 25-19, 25-13
- Sydney Ritz and Alyssa Walker had five kills each to lead Spring Arbor while Courtney Kyser and Sarah Schmid finished with four apiece.
- Annica Stotz, the reigning Crossroads League Setter of the Week, handed out 16 assists while also picking up five digs.
- Three Cougars collected eight digs, including Stephaney Fifield, Leah Rose and Paige Porter.
FOR THE KNIGHTS
- Anne Strevels, Kalyn Schreiber and Kacee Salyers ended the evening with nine kills each.
- Marian's Madi Heffron had a double-double with 16 assists and 12 digs.
UP NEXT
Spring Arbor will conclude the regular season with road trips to the University of Saint Francis (9-20, 7-8 CL) on Friday, Oct. 27 and Goshen College (12-16, 4-11 CL) on Saturday, Oct. 28.
