SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team fell at home Wednesday night, dropping a 3-0 decision to visiting Huntington University inside the SAU Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED

SET SCORES: 25-20, 25-21, 25-22
Spring Arbor held a 9-8 lead in the first set, but Huntington reeled off six straight points and never looked back.
In the second set, the two teams were tied 21-21 before the Foresters closed out the frame on a 4-0 run to grab a two-sets-to-none advantage.
The Cougars trailed 23-17 late in the third set, but battled back to trim the deficit to one, 23-22. The visitors halted the run however, and closed out the set to complete the sweep.
Spring Arbor had a well-balanced attack with five players logging at least five kills. Sydney Ritz and Paige Porter led the way with six apiece while Kasey Follis, Alyssa Walker and Maggie Watson posted five each.
Annica Stotz and Emily Martin combined for 25 assists.
The NAIA's leader in digs, Stephaney Fifield, picked up 16 tonight while Porter collected 10. Courtney Kyser registered three blocks.
