SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team celebrated Senior Day with a 3-0 victory over Goshen College in its regular season finale Saturday afternoon. Prior to the match, the Cougars honored their three seniors, Kasey Follis, Mackay Heasley and Annica Stotz, for their hard work and dedication to the program over the past four years.
The win improved Spring Arbor to 17-11 overall and 8-10 in the Crossroads League. The team's 17 regular season wins are the most by the program since the 2009 season.
The Cougars also secured their first postseason berth in seven years after finishing sixth in the league standings.
VS. SAINT FRANCIS

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- On Friday night, Spring Arbor played its final road match of the regular season visiting second-place Saint Francis.
- Saint Francis was able to avenge the loss to SAU earlier this season and earn a season-series split with a straight-set win.
- Freshmen Alison Ford and Claudia Ellis led the way offensively for the Cougars with eight and seven kills, respectively. Hope Notter and Annica Stotz combined for 26 assists while Stotz also picked up 10 digs for a double-double.
- Stephaney Fifield recorded a match-high 22 digs while Olivia Slenk also finished with double-digit digs with 10.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor bounced back from Friday night's setback with a big win over Goshen to close out the regular season.
- As a team, the Cougars hit .333 in the match while limiting the Maple Leafs to a .040 hitting percentage.
- Ford finished with a match-high 11 kills. In her final home game, Follis posted nine kills while hitting at a blistering .450 clip. Sydney Ritz followed with eight kills and Ellis added six. Stotz and Notter orchestrated the attack with a total of 39 assists.
- Fifield and Slenk anchored the defensive with 15 and 10 digs. Kyara Black had three total blocks while Ellis added a pair of solo blocks.
UP NEXT
The Crossroads League Tournament is scheduled to begin on Saturday, Nov. 3. Spring Arbor will be the No. 6-seed in the tournament and will travel to No. 3-seed Indiana Wesleyan University (21-11, 14-4 CL) for its quarterfinal matchup.
