SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Sophomore libero Stephaney Fifield recorded the 1,000th dig of her career Friday night in the Spring Arbor University volleyball team's match with Crossroads League rival Indiana Wesleyan University.
After suffering a loss to IWU, the Cougars responded with a 3-0 sweep of Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Saturday.

- Fifield entered Friday's matchup needing just two digs to join the program's 1,000 Dig Club and she would finish the night with 10, reaching the milestone in just 52 matches.
- Sydney Ritz posted a team-high 11 kills with a .474 hitting percentage, but, as a team, the Cougars would hit just .098. Indiana Wesleyan finished the night hitting .368.

- Spring Arbor bounced right back though following its loss to IWU with a three-set win over Mount Vernon Nazarene.
- The Cougars hit nearly .300 as a team with Kasey Follis and Kyara Black leading the way with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Alison Ford and Ritz followed with seven kills apiece.
- Hope Notter handed out 17 assists while adding two aces.
- Fifield picked up a match-high 19 digs. Black and Maggie Watson were a force at the net combining for 10 blocks.
