SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Sarah Eliason, from Milan High School in Ypsilanti, Michigan, has signed with the Spring Arbor University volleyball program, announced head coach Betsy Martinez.
Eliason is a setter for Milan and for her club team, Toledo Dynamic Volleyball. She helped guide the Big Reds to the final round of districts for the first time in 20 years and had 18 kills in a district semifinal match. She was named the team MVP and has been recognized as an All-Conference performer and earned Academic Honorable Mention for four years.
"We are thrilled to add Sarah to our volleyball family at SAU. She brings and outstanding work ethic, a great team-first attitude, and is a tough competitor."
In addition to volleyball, Eliason participates in soccer and tennis at Milan. She is also a member of the National Honor Society.
She is the daughter of Susan and Phil Eliason, and while attending SAU, she plans on pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
