GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team kicked off the spring season in exciting fashion on Saturday, earning a hard-fought 5-4 victory over Aquinas College.
Spring Arbor won two of the three doubles matches, but Aquinas evened things up during singles play. The Saints claimed wins at the top three singles spots before junior Patrick Doerr clinched the match for SAU, prevailing in three-sets to give the Cougars their first team win over Aquinas in 20 years.
