SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University bounced back from its loss on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over the University of Saint Francis on Wednesday night. The win keeps the Cougars undefeated at home this season, moving to 4-0 inside the McDonald Athletic Center.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- The first set was tied 23-23 before a USF error put Spring Arbor in front. Then, the Cougars closed out the opening frame with a double block by Claudia Ellis and Alison Ford.
- The two teams battled to a 23-23 score again in the second set. Spring Arbor would come through in a big spot, winning the next two points to take a commanding 2-0 set lead. A kill from Ford gave Spring Arbor set point and another double block by Ford and Kyara Black clinched the game.
- The third set was back-and-forth as well, but a late 4-1 run put SAU in control. The Cougars would complete the three-set sweep following a match-ending kill by Ford – her 11th kill of the night.
- Ford led all players with 11 kills and McKenna Peters followed with 10. Hope Notter and Sarah Eliason combined for 30 assists while recording two aces apiece.
- Paige Porter picked up a season-high 23 digs. Black finished with seven blocks and Ellis registered five.
