SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team hosted a tri-match with Cumberland University and Aquinas College on Saturday. The Cougars dropped the opener to Cumberland 3-0 before suffering a loss at the hands of Aquinas by the same score.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Sarah Eliason led the Cougars with a season-high eight kills. McKenna Peters was second in that category with six.
- Senior libero Paige Porter anchored the defense with a team-best 13 digs. Macey Rupp led all players with three blocks.
- Cumberland's Isabella Curcio tallied 13 kills. Victoria Johnson helped direct the offense by recording 35 assists.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Alison Nibbelink recorded a season-high 13 kills, which led all players in the match. Hope Notter had 20 assists.
- Emily Johnson proved to be a threat from behind the service line, as she finished with three aces. Paige Porter led the Cougars with 20 digs.
- Aquinas was paced by Jackie Rozell and Emily Jones, who recorded 10 kills apiece. Chloe Mitchell had 20 assists.

The Cougars will travel to Grand Rapids to play two matches at Aquinas College on Saturday, Feb. 27. The first will take place at 6 p.m. against the Huntington University Foresters. The second will be against the Aquinas College Saints at 8 p.m.
