WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's golf team competed at the Ackerman-Allen Shootout Monday, held at Purdue's Ackerman-Allen Golf Course.
Spring Arbor finished third in 10-team field, and second among the seven Crossroads League teams represented. The Cougars fired rounds of 309 and 307 for a two-round total of 616.
Parkland College won the event with a score of 591 and Taylor University followed in second with a 595.
Rory Myers and
Sean Vann led the way for SAU with top-10 finishes. Myers placed third overall out of 54 players carding rounds of 72 and 74 for a 36-hole total of 146. Vann landed in seventh after turning in scores of 76 and 73 for a total score of 149.
