SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team was defeated 3-0 by No. 13 ranked Marian University on Wednesday evening inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
The Cougars are now 7-7 overall and 0-2 in the Crossroads League while the Knights remained perfect, improving to 10-0 with a 2-0 mark in league play.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Marian narrowly held on to take the first set, 25-22, and were in another close one in the second set. The Cougars matched the Knights point-for-point through most of the frame before a late 6-0 run put the visitors in the driver's seat. Marian would go on to claim the third set and remain unbeaten on the season.
- McKenna Peters had 10 kills and Alison Ford added eight with 12 digs. Claudia Ellis finished with seven kills and a .462 hitting percentage.
- Hope Notter recorded 26 assists and 12 assists.
