ADRIAN, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team had its four-match winning streak snapped Wednesday night, falling to Siena Heights University 3-1.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor started strong, hitting .211 as a team in the first set with 11 kills and only three errors while holding Siena Heights to a .050 hitting percentage.
- The Saints flipped the script in set two on their way to evening the match at one set apiece.
- In the pivotal third set, SAU held a 23-21 lead, but the home team went on a 4-0 run to close out the game and take a 2-1 advantage.
- The score was tight again late in the fourth set with Siena Heights was clinging to a 24-22 lead. The Cougars fought off one match point, however, the Saints held on to clinch the match.
- Alison Nibbelink and Kendall Bollenbacher finished with nine kills apiece while Kelsie Lilly added six.
- Hayden Fortress had 21 assists and nine digs. Emily Johnson recorded four aces and Kirstyn Throop tallied three.
- Frances Churchwell collected 18 digs and Abigail Fernihough posted five blocks.
