SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team picked up a 3-1 Crossroads League victory over visiting Taylor University on Wednesday night inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
The Cougars improve to 12-10 overall and are currently fifth in the league standings with a 6-5 record.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor and Taylor were tied 22-22 in the first set before back-to-back kills from Kendall Bollenbacher helped the Cougars take set one.
- A 7-0 run in set two, punctuated by a kill from Natasha Bickel, gave SAU a 16-8 advantage. The Trojans battled back late to make it close, but blocks by Mikenna Kwiatkowski and Abigail Fernihough, followed by an ace from Keely Hinzman, propelled the Cougars to a 2-0 set lead.
- Taylor avoided the sweep with a win in set three, but Spring Arbor raced out to a commanding 12-1 lead in set four and held on to secure the match.
- Bollenbacher had 13 kills and 19 digs. Kelsie Lilly and Hinzman followed with nine kills and eight kills, respectively. Fernihough finished with seven blocks while Frances Churchwell tallied 21 digs.
