SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team earned its fourth five-set victory on Wednesday night, defeating visiting Goshen College 3-2 (25-19, 22-25, 20-25, 25-10, 15-8).
Freshman
Keely Hinzman and sophomore
Kelsie Lilly tallied season-highs in kills to help lead the Cougars. Hinzman finished with 19 kills – hitting at a .484 clip – while also adding a match-high six blocks and Lilly ended the night with 14 kills.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Goshen grabbed a 2-1 lead after the third set, but Spring Arbor bounced back to win sets four and five to secure the conference win. The Cougars outhit the visitors .577 to .000 in the fourth set and .381 to .056 in the fifth set.
- Hinzman had a huge night for SAU, recording a season-high 19 kills and a .484 hitting percentage. The freshman middle made an impact at the net as well recording a match-best six blocks.
- Lilly finished with 14 kills, a new season-best, and had a .444 hitting percentage.
- Kendall Bollenbacher contributed 15 kills. Hayden Fortress had 32 assists, two aces and eight digs while Camy Wedge finished with 20 assists. Abby Rissman had a team-best 21 digs while Frances Churchwell and Kirstyn Throop picked up 14 apiece.
