Women’s Cross Country places 3rd at Bethel Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's cross country team finished third in the 14-team field at the Bethel University Invitational on Friday evening.
 
Spring Arbor collected 77 team points – just two points behind No. 23 Goshen College for second place. Olivet Nazarene University, the No. 20 ranked squad in the country, won the event with 57 points.
 
A trio of Cougars finished top 10 out of more than 130 runners. Shelby Cade led the way for SAU, crossing the finish line in 20:01 to place fifth overall. Alexis Brown was close behind in 20:03 to grab eighth place while Madyson Oudbier posted a time of 20:11 to place 10th.
