GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's cross country team had its final tune-up prior to the Crossroads League Championship when it ran in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, hosted by Aquinas College, on Saturday.
The meet is the largest NAIA-only event in the country and featured 16 schools ranked or receiving votes in the latest top 25 ratings.
Spring Arbor finished 17th in the 22-team field. Four of the top six spots in the standings were taken by Crossroads League teams with No. 1 Taylor University winning the event. Cornerstone University, the No. 8 ranked team in the country, came in second and No. 10 Grace College finished third.
