MARION, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's cross country team concluded its 2025 season at the Crossroads League Championship on Friday. The Cougars finished in seventh place among the 10 teams competing in the meet.
Spring Arbor turned in its best 6k team time of the season at 1:57:49 and the fastest team average at 23:33.
For the fourth time this season,
Madyson Oudbier paced the Cougars. Oudbier finished 31st out of 121 racers with a time of season-best 6k time of 23:04.
Jynessa Larsen and
Alexis Brown were close behind, completing the course in 23:21 and 23:28 – both season-best times.
Taylor University, ranked No. 1 in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Rating, came in first place to capture its 13th consecutive league championship. Taylor's Jaynie Halterman won the individual title for a second straight year with a time of 20:17.
