GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's cross country team had its final tune-up prior to the Crossroads League Championship when it ran in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, hosted by Aquinas College, on Saturday.
The meet is the largest NAIA-only event in the country and featured 13 schools ranked or receiving votes in the latest top 25 poll.
Spring Arbor finished 18th in the 20-team field. The top four spots in the standings were taken by Crossroads League teams with No. 2 Taylor University winning the event. Grace College, the No. 10 ranked team in the nation, came in second and was followed by No. 13 Indiana Wesleyan University in third and No. 22 Marian University in fourth.
