BROOKINGS, S.D. – Spring Arbor University's
Emma Stewart closed out her inaugural indoor season by securing All-American honors at the 2024 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships, held at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex on the campus of South Dakota State University.
Competing on the national stage for the first time, Stewart finished eighth out of 27 competitors in the pole vault. The freshman from Westland, Michigan cleared a height 3.67m (12-0.5), matching her season-best mark.
Indiana Tech was the women's team champion, finishing the meet with 88 points, while William Carey University came in second with 79 points.
The meet signaled the end of the indoor season. The Cougars will begin their outdoor campaign at the Lee University Invitational in Cleveland, Tennessee on Mar. 22-23.
