MARION, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's track & field team delivered its strongest conference finish in five years at the Crossroads League Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday, placing fifth out of 10 teams – the program's best showing since 2019 when the Cougars finished fourth.
SAU was led by four All-Crossroads League performances over the two-day meet.
Kylie Brown turned in a runner-up finish in the 400 meters while
Alyssa Budd also earned all-league honors with a second-place performance in the long jump.
Tanana Emmendorfer added a third-place finish in the 400 meters, and
Allison Teed secured third in the pentathlon.
In the team standings, Marian University claimed the championship with 244 points followed by Indiana Wesleyan University in second with 138. Taylor University finished third with 85.5 points.
