JACKSON, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's bowling team was back in action at CL Tournament #3 on Friday. It was a strong day for the Cougars, who came away with a second place finish as a team, as well as the individual champion of the event.
Kayla Tafanelli ran away from the field, finishing in first place overall by 90 pins. The sophomore from Warren, Michigan collected 685 pins over three games, including a high-game of 244.
The Cougars had the top-five individuals of the tournament. Following Tafanelli was
Kaylee Hall,
Montana Hernandez,
Brooklyn Woughter and
Ella Steinke – all finishing within five pins of each other.
Marian University was the top team with 5328 total pins while SAU finished with 5253.
