Defending Champs Set for Fifth Straight National Appearance

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The field is officially set for the NAIA Women's Bowling National Championship and Spring Arbor University was announced as one of the 12 teams competing for the Red Banner.

The Cougars, making their fifth consecutive appearance on the national stage, enter the tournament as the defending national champions after winning the program's first title a season ago.

The event takes on a new format in 2026, as a dozen seeded teams split into two six-team, double-elimination brackets, playing mega-match style competitions for the right to play in the championship mega-match.

The Cougars will be the No. 5 seed in the bracket and face off against No. 12 seeded University of St. Francis (Ill.) in its first game of the tournament.

This year's national championship takes place on Mar. 19-21 at Royal Scot in Lansing, Michigan.
