HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University volleyball team showed tremendous fight on Tuesday night, rallying from two sets down to force a decisive fifth, but ultimately fell in extra points as Huntington University escaped with a 3-2 victory.

Scores: 27-25, 25-22, 22-25, 22-25, 22-20
After narrowly dropping the first two sets, the Cougars bounced back to edge the Foresters in the third and fourth frames. Behind a strong attack and key defensive plays, SAU took back-to-back 25-22 wins to even the match and shift momentum heading into the fifth.
The deciding set turned into a thriller, with both sides trading blows deep into extra points. Spring Arbor fought off multiple match points, but Huntington managed to edge out the Cougars 22-20 to escape with the win.
Kelsie Lilly led SAU with 17 kills while
Kendall Bollenbacher added 15 kills and 23 digs.
Keely Hinzman chipped in 13 kills and eight blocks while
Camy Wedge finished with 36 assists, five aces and 22 digs. Defensively,
Palmer Fortress anchored the back row with a match-high 33 digs.
