SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University is receiving votes in the third regular season edition of the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released by the national office on Wednesday.
This marks the third straight poll the Cougars have appeared in after being ranked in the Top 25 in the previous two.
Spring Arbor is one of six Crossroads League teams in the latest edition of the rankings. Joining SAU is, No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 13 Mount Vernon Nazarene, No. 21 Taylor and No. 22 Marian while Huntington is also receiving votes.
Kendall Bollenbacher and
Isabelle Kirkendall lead the SAU attack, averaging 2.63 and 2.37 kills per set, while setter
Camy Wedge is averaging 6.5 assists per set and ranks among the Crossroads League leaders with 28 aces.
Keely Hinzman ranks second in the conference in total blocks (77) and blocks per set (1.05).
Spring Arbor (16-5, 3-5 CL) visits Huntington University on Wednesday, Oct. 1 before returning home to take on No. 22 Marian on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
