SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – In a battle of Top 25 programs, the No. 23 ranked Spring Arbor University volleyball team fell 3-0 to No. 22 Taylor University on Wednesday night inside the McDonald Athletic Center. The result dropped the Cougars to 14-3 overall and 2-3 in the Crossroads League.

Scores: 25-22, 25-16, 25-20
Taylor started fast and took control of the first set. A late run by the Cougars tied the set at 22-22, but the Trojans were able to claim the opening frame. The visitors carried that momentum the rest of the night winning sets two and three to hand SAU its first loss in three sets this season.
Kendall Bollenbacher led the Spring Arbor attack with 12 kills and 13 digs, while
Kelsie Lilly added eight kills. Setter
Camy Wedge dished out 19 assists, and libero
Aliza Munro recorded nine digs.
Spring Arbor (14-3, 2-3 CL) will look to bounce back against the University of Saint Francis (4-13, 0-5 CL) on Saturday, Sept. 20. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
