GOSHEN, Ind. – Spring Arbor University picked up a straight set victory on the road Wednesday night, defeating Goshen College 3-0 (25-14, 26-24, 25-22) in Crossroads League play.
The Cougars improved to 18-7 overall and 5-7 in the league with the win.
Natasha Bickel led the way with a season-high 10 kills.
Kendall Bollenbacher and
Keely Hinzman finished with seven kills each while Bollenbacher added 12 digs.
Gabby Bryja and
Camy Wedge handed out 14 assists apiece with Bryja also recording three aces. Defensively,
Palmer Fortress anchored the back row with 18 digs.
Spring Arbor returns home Saturday, Oct. 18 to host Grace College (13-11, 6-6 CL) at 1 p.m. inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
