SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – For the second straight week, Spring Arbor University's
Dante Favor has been named the Crossroads League Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Favor continued his stellar work on the defensive end for the Cougars, this time posting four blocks, two steals and four defensive rebounds in a 93-59 win over Great Lakes Christian College.
On the season, Favor has posted 14 blocks and ranks third in the Crossroads League in blocks per game (1.8). He leads SAU in rebounding, averaging 9.5 per game, and ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.8 points per game.
Spring Arbor (5-3, 1-1 CL) returns to Crossroads League action on Wednesday, Dec. 3, traveling to face Mount Vernon Nazarene University (7-2, 1-1 CL).
