Favor earns Player of the Week nod

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's Dante Favor has been named the Crossroads League Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 
It is his first career Player of the Week honor for Favor, who led the Cougars to a 72-65 win over Huntington University, which is receiving votes in the national rankings, with four blocks and a steal on the defensive end while also adding 10 points. Then against Marian University, the Canton, Michigan native poured in 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
 
On the year, Favor is averaging just shy of a double-double with 15.9 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. He leads the team in rebounding and ranks second in scoring.
 
Spring Arbor (4–3) plays host to Great Lakes Christian College (7-4) on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
