Hall claims top spot, Cougars finish second at CL #4

ELKHART, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's bowling team finished second at the final Crossroads League Tournament of the season on Saturday at Signature Lanes in Elkhart, Indiana.
 
Marian University won the event with 5134 pins while the Cougars followed with 4882. Indiana Wesleyan University came in third place with 4690.
 
Cody Hall was the individual champion after knocking down 673 pins over three games. Dallas Casey was close behind in fourth place overall with 620 pins.
 
After four Crossroads League tournaments, Spring Arbor and Marian were tied with 64 conference points, however the Knights controlled the tiebreaker (more total pins) to secure the league's regular season title and automatic bid to the NAIA Men's Bowling National Championship.
 
Teams earned points based on their finish in each of the four conference events: 1st – 18 points, 2nd – 16 points, 3rd – 14 points, 4th – 12 points, 5th – 10 points, 6th – 8 points, 7th – 6 points, 8th – 4 points.
