ELKHART, Ind. – The Crossroads League Championship took place Saturday at Signature Lanes in Elkhart, Indiana.
The championship featured four teams in a bracket-style, best-of-three match play tournament with the seeding determined by the results from the Baker round of Crossroads League Tournament #4, which was played earlier in the day. The teams that qualified were Huntington University, Marian University, Spring Arbor University and Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
In the first round, Huntington defeated MVNU 2-0 (172-153, 167-119) and Marian defeated SAU 2-0 (151-147, 185-130).
In the final round, Marian defeated Huntington 2-1 (177-137, 149-164, 189-155).
Spring Arbor has already clinched its spot in the NAIA Women's Bowling National Championship by capturing the Crossroads League regular season title. The national championship is set for Mar. 20-22 at 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
