JACKSON, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's bowling team collected its sixth win of the season after finishing in first place at Alma College's Scotty Classic on Saturday at JAX 60.
Spring Arbor ran away from the field with a final score of 5082 – 400 pins more than the second place team.
Kayla Tafanelli claimed the top spot on the individual leaderboard – her fifth first place finish on the campaign. The sophomore standout collected 628 pins over three games for a 209.3 average.
Five other Cougars finished in the top-10.
Ella Steinke finished right behind Tafanelli in second place with 625 pins and
Kaylee Hall grabbed third place with 616.
Jena Fijolek (559),
Ashlynn Thibodeaux (558) and
Gracey Smiley (555) landed in seventh, eighth, and ninth, respectively.
