SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced the Easton Top 10 GPA rankings for the 2024-25 academic year and Spring Arbor University posted the sixth-highest team grade point average in the NAIA.
 
Head coach Deb Thompson's Cougars recorded an impressive 3.752 team GPA – 0.145 points behind first place Faulkner University. Spring Arbor's GPA also ranked 27th overall among all four-year institutions, including all three NCAA divisions.
 
In addition to the team award, 15 SAU student-athletes were recognized as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes (3.5 GPA or higher). In all, 9,199 student-athletes were honored with the award.
