JACKSON, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's bowling team turned in a strong performance at Crossroads League Tournament #4, finishing second out of eight teams on Friday at JAX 60 in Jackson, Michigan.
The Cougars totaled 5,613 pins on the day, trailing only Marian University, which claimed the team title with 5,747 pins.
Individually,
Owen Williams led the field, finishing first among more than 100 bowlers. Williams rolled a three-game total of 686 pins, averaging 228.7 per game.
Anthony Fotis followed right behind him with 672 pins while
Kingston Corpuz also earned a top-10 finish, placing sixth with a total of 633 pins.
As a team, Spring Arbor ranked second in the standings following the 12 Baker games and will enter the Crossroads League Championship later today as the No. 2 seed.
