SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team continues to climb in the national rankings, moving up two spots to No. 16 in the sixth edition of the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released by the national office Wednesday.

John Williams and the Cougars have won four out of their last five games, including two wins over teams receiving votes in the poll, and now boast a 20-4 overall record and are third in the Crossroads League standings with an 11-3 mark in conference play.
Megan Zeitz leads the team and ranks top-10 in the Crossroads League in scoring averaging 14.2 points per game and has handed out a team-best 55 assists.
Haven Chapman is averaging 9.6 points and a team-best 5.7 rebounds per game while
Ashley Weller is adding 9.0 points per contest.
Spring Arbor is one of six Crossroads League teams in the latest rankings. Joining SAU is No. 4 Marian University and No. 7 University of Saint Francis while Huntington University, Taylor University and Indiana Wesleyan University are receiving votes.
The Cougars play at Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana on Wednesday, Feb. 11 before returning home to host Goshen College for Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 14.
