SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's Aziz Madatov has been named the Crossroads League Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 
Madatov scored wins at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles to help the Cougars sweep Calvin University for the team's third consecutive win of the spring.
 
On the season, Madatov owns a 4-2 singles record and is 5-1 in doubles play with teammate Andrei Negrut.
 
The Cougars are in Hilton Head, South Carolina for Spring Break where they will play four matches over five days. Upon returning, the team will visit the University of Saint Francis for a Crossroads League showdown on Friday, Mar. 20.
