SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University softball standout
Emilee Underwood has been named to the 2026 NAIA NFCA All-Region Second Team, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced.
The honor adds to an outstanding season for Underwood, who was previously named the Crossroads League Pitcher of the Year and earned All-Crossroads League First Team honors after leading the conference in wins, ERA and strikeouts.
Underwood turned in one of the top pitching seasons in program history, posting a 21-10 record with a 2.01 ERA while recording 24 complete games and six shutouts.
Her 21 wins ranked fourth-most in a single season in SAU history, while her 168 strikeouts were the second-most ever by a Cougar pitcher in a season.
The junior from Chelsea, Michigan also contributed offensively, batting .368 with four doubles, a home run and 10 RBIs.
Underwood helped lead the Cougars to a 33-23 overall record and a trip to the championship round of the Crossroads League Tournament during the 2026 campaign.
