SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Indiana Wesleyan University in Crossroads League action on Tuesday afternoon.
Indiana Wesleyan (4-2, 3-2 CL) took control of the match early with a sweep in doubles en route to its fourth straight victory.
The Cougars split the six singles matches with the Wildcats. Senior Jesse DeBoer and freshman Nick Romano both won by default at No. 1 and No. 2 singles while freshman Sam Head prevailed in straight sets (6-3, 6-4) at No. 6 singles.
Spring Arbor (1-5, 1-5 CL) will return to the court on Thursday, Sept. 24 when it hosts Bethel College (2-7, 0-4 CL) beginning at 2 p.m.
