HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team fell 7-2 at Huntington University in its final regular season Crossroads League match on Saturday.
Huntington (3-6, 3-3 CL) won four out of six singles matches before sweeping doubles to earn its second straight victory.
Junior Jacob Byrd and freshman Sam Head picked up the lone points for the Cougars. After dropping the opening set, Byrd rallied back at No. 4 singles for the 4-6, 6-2, 12-10 win. Meanwhile,Head stayed hot winning his third straight match at No. 6 singles topping HU's Daniel Strom 6-4, 6-1.
