HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's tennis team saw its fall season come to a close on Tuesday with a 7-2 loss to Huntington University in the quarterfinals of the Crossroads League Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Arbor picked up one point in doubles competition as sophomore Josh Scott and freshman Alex Reinbold prevailed in a thrilling 9-8 match at No. 3 doubles. The Cougars just missed earning a second point as sophomore Nick Romano and senior Vincent McShane were edged out 8-6 at No. 1.
- In singles play, the Foresters were able to secure the match with five wins. The Cougars lone singles point came at the No. 1 position. Romano fell to HU's Ignacio Poncio in straight sets last week, but he turned the tables on Poncio this time, defeating one of the league's top singles players in three sets 2-6, 6-4, 7-6.

Spring Arbor finished the fall season with a 3-6 record, and will resume action this spring.
